For this lesson, you will need the following materials:

VEXcode IQSmart Cable

Attach Optical Sensor
Insert 4 blue pins to the back of the Optical Sensor
Attach the Optical Sensor to the front of the robot underneath the claw
Connect the cable to the Optical Sensor and the other end to Port 2
Insert pinsAttach to front of robot
Optical Sensor Configuration
Open the VEXcode app and connect your robot to your device. To configure the Optical Sensor, follow these steps:
Open the Devices Tab
Select Add a device
Select Optical
Choose Port 2
Rename to “FrontOptical”
Click Done

Save Project
You will use this project on the next page. To save this project, select File > Save As, then name the project "WaitUntilRed" and click save. Save Project
